The Big Garden Birdwatch 2010 is on 30-31 January. Will you take part? Have you taken part in previous years? Have you got a garden bird 'goal' for 2010? I'm hoping to attract a few more species this year, I'm hoping to attract more Tits (not like that!), Chaffinch (I've seen them in the area but never in the garden) and hopefully Goldfinches, they're on my county list for 2009 but I've never seen one in my county! I might provide water and redecorate the feeding station which is currently a tree collapsing under the weight of a fat feeder, seed feeder and peanut feeder. I might try to make it sturdier, more attractive, more photogenic...

Yes i will be taking part. Will also be door dropping leaflets to encourage people to take part.

Would like to see a few new species but happy to see steady numbers of my resident visitors to confirm that all is well in the garden.

Have fun counting and making it count.
