As per key

Dr György Ede Almásy Graf von Zsadány und Törökszentmiklós (1867-1933) Hungarian zoologist, ethnologist, explorer in Turkistan and western China 1900-1906 (syn. Alauda arvensis dulcivox).

No doubt it is the right guy and here would confirm the birth date.

...11. August 1867 in Felsö-Lendva (West-Ungarn)...

But if we look at Hungarian World Encyclopedia p. 97 of 3298 of the pdf but p. 30 in the book we can read...

Almásy, György (George) (Kétegyháza, 15 October 1864 - Graz, Austria, 22 September 1933)

...here

ALMÁSY György
* 1864. X. 15., Kétegyháza - † 1898. XI. 18., Bécs

So even a different death date. I feel something has been mixed up and I am confused what's correct. Are this two different persons? Sure death 1898 can't be if he travelled in 1906 and published in 1930 Beizjagd in Mittelasien in Deutscher Falkenorden as we can read here.

P.S. But it looks like we are indeed talking about two different persons if we look here as different father and mother.
