Any body else on here that is part of Project Feeder watch? I was late starting this year but got going last week. There is lots of activity at my feeders but not a great deal of variety of species. I had only 6 species during the 2 day count period which immediately climbed to 9 species on the next non-count day.

This is my 18th year to participate. It's an invaluable citizen science project, and can be done without leaving home. It has contributed immeasurably to our understanding of what's happening to birds. Keep doing it, even if there are times that you see no birds. Your reports do make a difference.
