Manfrotto 349C Hide Clamp Centre Column (1 Viewer)

I hope somebody can help me.

I have the Manfrotto 349 C hide clamp. I wish to buy a tripod centre column with 3/8 “ screw attachment. Can anybody advise me of any brand and model tripod centre column which will fit this clamp?

The clamp is supposed to fit a centre column between 25 to 28mm diameter.

I was wrongly advised that it would fit my Manfrotto 190 MF3 Magfiber Tripod centre column. The column is still loose when I have tightened the attachment screw fully.

That's a surprise, did you fit the inner plastic sleeve into the hide clamp - that should take up any amount of slack.

Thanks for your reply, I bought it new from Amazon, it did not have a plastic sleeve with it.

I thought both variants came with an inner plastic sleeve that helped with slimmer centre columns and/or carbon fibre systems. Have a look at some images of the 349 as well as the 349c.
