These dowitchers were photographed shortly after 8 a.m. on July 17 at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in New Jersey. There were many Short-billed Dowitchers feeding that morning. In going back though my photos, I identified the bird on the right as the most likely of all the ones I'd seen to be a Long-billed Dowitcher. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
