Very little supporting info here for this one unfortunately which has been sent to me by a colleague, any help would be appreciated but it's a long shot i'm sure.

Yeah this is tough - It's a shame the cap is overexposed, I can't quite tell what colour it is......

We can see the stem is fibrillose (so not likely to be viscid), and the gills aren't decurrent. What I can see of the cap seems to be orange-red (?) and also slightly fibrillose, so I'd start by comparing it to Hygrocybe splendidissima..... but as I say, that's a bit of a stab in the dark!
