Manakin, Astrild or what ever (Barbados) (1 Viewer)

It doesn't appear to be an old world bird. Neither do I recognise it as a South American species. My best guess is a female or immature male Black-faced Grassquit, Tiaris bicolor. That would certainly explain the dark cap, greenish wings and dark eye.
 
If you are right, it would indicate a rather large difference between the Black-faced Grassquit here in Dominica and in Barbados. I guess nothing is impossible :)
