Hi all, off to New York in oct for a few day's. hoping to escape for a few hours in central park for a bit of birding, anyone been ? found quite a good website but a bit of info from someone who has been there would be much apprieciated, cheer's gaz
 
Hi Gaz,
I will be there in August and am hoping to do Central park and Jamaica Bay, will let you know how I get on. Two Derby chaps in New York, small world!

The missus and i have two days in late September in New York city at the end of of a "New England in the Fall' tour so I'll also watch with interest to see how you all get on and thanks for the heads up re. Birding Bobs site which seems ideal! A three hour guided tours for less than £3 - how cheap is that!
