Wednesday - the 11 of September - I ringed 172 birds of 13 species during 8 hour at Vargviken, Pitea, Sweden:

YELLOW WAGTAIL (1)
WHITE WAGTAIL (1)
HEDGE ACCENTOR (1)
BLUETHROAT (1)
SONG THRUSH (1)
WILLOW WARBLER (11)
WILLOW TIT (1)
GREAT TIT (1)
BRAMBLING (98)
EUROPEAN GREENFINCH (5)
EURASIAN SISKIN (1)
RUSTIC BUNTING (12)
REED BUNTING (37)

12 Rustic Bunts!!! I had my net up in the garden for three hours and got 2 Blue tits and a retrap Robin!!:(

Are you going out tomorrow, if so post your totals, i can only dream!

Ringing the 14:th of September

I promised to post my numbers for today - here they are:

Song Thrush - 1
Willow warbler - 2
Great Tit - 2
Brambling - 2
Green Finch - 21
Reed Bunting - 8

10-14 m/sec wind from north made the catching a little difficult ;-<
I'll try again tomorrow if the weather allows it.

Ringing the 15th of September 2002

Saturday the 14th was bad because of hard winds. Sunday was really good:

Dunnock - 1
Chiffchaff - 2
Willow Warbler - 19
Great Tit - 7
Brambling - 3
European Greenfinch - 13
Rustic Bunting - 6
Reed Bunting - 56

Total of 108 birds of 9 species.
