Cheshire And Wirral Birding: Hills, Lowland and Coast (2 Viewers)

Good day on the Dee Estuary today starting at Denhall Lane walking to Neston Sewage Works and back. Had a Great White Egret from Nets Cafe, Hen Harrier and Marsh Harrier from the Harp Inn and a single Water Pipit by the sewage works. Didn't see any SEO though. Called at Burton Mere and had another Marsh Harrier and it was good to see at least 20 Avocet returning.

At least 2 house martins ( and swallow ) with a few sand martins at Redesmere this pm. The house martins beat my earliest ever record by 5 days ( been keeping records since 1976 ! ) Not claiming any sort of record - I'm sure others will beat that , but it is significantly early for round here.
Edit : just seen post above !
