Infra red photography (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Has anybody tried taking photographs using an infra red filter and a digital camera? I fancy having a go at it but I'm not sure how successful I might be. I have a Canon Powershot (S3IS) and an Olympus DSLR (E500) available to choose from but thought I would ask you all for advice and experiences before I start.

Anybody got any thoughts?
