Birdwatching in Cambodia? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I visited Cambodia in February, during 5 days. I was in Tonle Sap (swamps and lake) and Angkor (woods), and I saw perhaps 5 birds species only!

While I Singapore I saw about 8 differents birds species in a day!

Why birds in Cambodia are so shy and hard to see?

The little boys wandering around Angkhor with slingshots might be a bit of a clue!! I didn't see much around the touristy areas (which is opposite to other SE Asian countries) either but out in the middle of nowhere it was much better.
