Hello,
Have been reading the binocular and scope forums for months and finally decided to post.
I'm much more a general wildlife watcher than a birder (sister is the serious birder), but my wife and I live beside a 400 acre wildlife / lake / marsh area that sits along a migratory route, so we are picking up bird experience along the way.
Gave up hunting several years ago (it just wasn't my true nature), and now much prefer to watch silently and shoot with a camera.
