Two days in Pembs (1 Viewer)

Spent a couple of days walking/birding in Pembrokeshire. This is a really stunning part of the world.

1st Day started at Dale and walked St Ann's Headland. Six miles, so good walk but not too long. Best sightings a few Chough. We were hoping for a newly arrived Yank wader but unfortunately for us it ( a Pec) flew into castle Martin instead.

Following morning started at Strumble for seawatch. Loads of birds moving best a couple of Balearic Shear, a sooty, some Great and arctic skuas, black terns. also loads of Porpoises, seals (including pups).

Nothing too outstanding but best summed up by my friend who had not been seawatching before who described it "Superb and a real wildlife spectacular".
