Angled vs Straight (1 Viewer)

What are the pros and cons of angled vs straight scopes?
Is on better than the other for digiscoping?

I think it is more a case of personal preference than anything else. Personally, I use an angled scope - its easier to see the LCD and you can have your tripod lower, therefore a lower centre of gravity and more stable. However, having said that it is easier to find birds when looking through a straight scope.

cheers,

Mark
