I understand the confusion. I have spent countless hours, in the UK and in the States really looking at them, so now, when looking at peeps, they are pretty 'easy' and I feel confident. Of course there are exceptions, but I'm used to seeing "long-billed" semi-ps and to be honest, while the bill may cause you to think Western, it's only a passing thought, since real Westerns have their own distinctive look.

It's just a matter of familiarity I think.
