I certainly did although couldn't remember my answers in comparison to the correct ones which would have been nice (to see where I had gone wrong) - I almost went for the Corn Bunting if I remember rightly - can't remember what got submitted instead!!

Hi Allen,

Your wish is my command. Photo 3 your answer Orphean Warb. Photo 6 your answer Tawny Eagle. Photo 8 your answer Sardinian Warb. Photo 10 your answer Calandra Lark. Photo 11 your answer Crested Lark. Photo 13, 14, 15 your answers in order Black-eared Wheatear, Long-legged Buzzard, Icterine Warb. Photo 18 your answer Common Skylark.

I hope the above is helpful.

Thanks for your participation Allen.

Hello,

not that it matters much now (a few years later...), but I am not surprised that few people got quiz photo n° 6 right (http://www.birdforum.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=75473&d=1173596668).
Surely, this is not a Booted Eagle, but a juvenile Bonelli's ?
Booted never shows such a pale hand; there is never such a black-and-white contrast between the fingers and the outer primary bases. The very pale, rufous plumage tinges are another pointer to juv. Bonelli's.
Also, not how the breast is rufous but the belly whitish, which is often the case in juv. Bonelli's but rarely if ever in Booted, and note also that the blackish band across the underwing is thinner than in most Booted (if not all).
Just thought it might be a consolation to some -- posthumous :king:
