Has anyone seen any Hawfinches recently in North Yorkshire, England? Or does anyone have any previous experience/sightings in the area where I might increase my chances of seeing any this fall/winter? This is my last year in England before moving back home Stateside, and I'd love to see some before I leave!

Been a few years since I saw one if you are on Twitter follow HawfinchesUK they will give you sightings.

Assuming you have transport, Sizergh Castle in Cumbria gets them in the car park, or used to - I expect a bit of research should prove it one way or the other.

Hopefully you can find a site closer though!
