Dear all,
After last September pioneer pelagic trip 60 miles off Lanzarote, which scored Black-bellied Storm Petrel and no less than 3 South Polar Skuas, amongst many Bulwer´s, Madeiran, Wilson´s and White-faced Storm Petrels feeding together on the chum, as well as double figures of Long-tailed Skuas, Great Shearwaters, etc... we are delighted to announce that we will run more dedicated weekend trips to the same area this year, hoping to see some exciting species again, as well as some interesting cetaceans. The trips can be easily combined with some nice, easy and relaxed birding on the island, with Houbara Bustard, Cream Coloured Courser, Eleonora´s and Barbay Falcons, Trumpeter Finches, etc..being all easy to see, and with good chances for american and african rarities too, especially in September.
This year´s schedule will be the following, and there are still a couple of places left on each trip.
26th and 27th May
30th June and 1st July
18th and 19th August
15th and 16th September: probably the best chances in the WP for trying to see South Polar Skuas
