Hi
Any one know of any good spots for Raven watching in the North, I'm in Durham but don't mind a bit of driving.
Cheers

hopefully some locals will tell you of actual spots but rspb says north pennines which is near you! i have heard them in Lymm and they have been seen a couple of miles away from me by birders with other reports in Cheshire and Lake District so when you get some more experienced birders than me i am sure you will get reports.

Easy in the Lake District; not too difficult in Kielder Forest. Few and far between in the North Pennines, where they tend to be shot out on the grouse moors :storm: :-C

As Nutcracker says very common in parts of Cumbria these days. I was talking to a birdwatcher who counted double figures in one location alone
If you are ever over this way send a pm and I'll give you directions for places where they are almost guaranteed.

Thank you guys, might take you up on that if no luck any where closer pratincol :t:
