Red Kites in the Midlands (1 Viewer)

They're becoming as common as Buzzards in east Leicestershire and Rutland nowadays so you could see them just about anywhere, though a visit to Rutland Water or Eyebrook Reservoir would get you plenty of other birds as well.

They're not quite as regular in my area in SW Leics, but even here they're not the great rarity they used to be - on my garden list this year with a very low-flying individual checking out the local gardens for whatever it might find.
