Kaeng Krachan Thailand help (1 Viewer)

I will be in Thailand next week (I know it's not the best time, but...) and am trying to figure out the best way to see Kaeng Krachan without a guide. It seems I'll need to hire a car - any ideas where I can do this near to the park? Can the Visitors Centre help me, or will I have to venture into one of the resorts on the coast to find a car?

Anyone with self-guided experience?

I guess the same request goes for Khao Yai...
