Willow Emerald Damselfly Emerging (1 Viewer)

A few days ago I was lucky to collect a Willow Emerald Damselfly nymph from a site I visit in East Kent. I took it home and photographed the nymph in a tank I had prepared. What I really hoped was that I could photograph the nymph emerging and thankfully on Thursday morning at 2am, I had captured the whole sequence. I'm not sure if this has been photographed in this country emerging from nymph to adult. A real privilege and photos can be viewed on my blog @ www.marcheath.blogspot.com
