Scops owl- Lyon area France

Hi,

I have what I believe is a Scops owl calling in a garden in France. I have recorded it but can't upload it for some reason. My question is Would a Scops owl in March be unusal?

Thanks for that. Seems like they are arriving alright. Plenty of Black Kites about as well today.
