Teleconverter (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody i was thinking of buying a teleconverter i have a nikon d5100 with a nikon afs 70-300 ed vr could anybody avise me if there is a teleconverter which might work with this set up.I would be very grateful for any replies.

Hi europod, I have a 1.4 kenko teleconverter which I have used on a 70-300 with the D5100. This combination is not very impressive and I would suggest degrades the image too much for my liking. However using the TC on a 300mm f4 Nikkor is a different matter. It is well worth doing but not a cheap solution. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.
