Had 3 people say they've seen 4 Little Egrets today.

reports from Flashes golden plover 5 (am) in meadow and 4 little egrets 2 of which came out of sluice channel.
i am now going to Flashes to do roost.

At the Moors yesterday, I had the same number but a similar ratio was in favour of Fieldfare . I wonder if the feeding at the two sides is different. The redwings usually favour the grassy fields below the transmitters and the 'old orchard'. Whereas the Fieldfare seem to prefer the short crops of the A38 fields. Maybe there are different invertebrates/worms in these fields preferred by each species.
On Sunday there were c.80 thrushes in the field to the north of North Moors - probably 50:30 in favour of Redwing.
