Newfoundland Birding (1 Viewer)

I have actually been following your blog for some time...a winter trip to Newfoundland is on the must do list (although not until the dissertation is cracked).

Same with me and would love to come to Newfoundland to see those rarity's that are always showing up one day!:t:

Amazing to read you blog and look at the rarities you get over in Canada and th US, but we take for granted here. I was watching a flock of 10 Chaffinches in the Garden today, nothing out of the ordinary. Redwings, Golden Plover, Pink Footed Goose- all birds reall considered fairly common in the right places here. Moorhens- Taken for granted here- one on literally every pond!
I assume it is the same with your American Robins- a bird we would love here, but is a Garden bird in N america.
HAs a RObin or Blackbird (Eurasian) ever been recorded in N AMerica?
