Delta del Po - Commacchio and Ravenna - in may (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I'm going with my family to the Po delta the first week in May. We're going to stay at Commacchio and Ravenna. I figure I'll have about one day to spend on birding. I've been reading some trip reports, but most of the information have either been pretty vague or overwhelming;)

Can anyone recommend a few good places to visit for birding? Preferably with some kind of direction and how to make the most of the place.

Are there any target/localized species and where can they be found?

Are there guides to be hired?

Best regards,

Hello Adam, if you haven't already read it, here's my report from last year. We go to Comacchio at least very couple of years because it's such a fantastic place, especially in May. I have some info in English somewhere, let me dig it out and I can PM it to you. Or if you have any specific questions do ask.
