Lanius sp. (Central Spain) (1 Viewer)

Hello! Today, while I was taking pictures of a fox, I saw this bird flying in the area. I know it belongs to the Lanius genus, but I am not sure of the species.

The picture was taken this morning in Guadalajara (Central Spain) in a crop area next to a river.

Yes and it seems to be generally accepted now that it is Iberian Grey Shrike and separate from what was formerly called Southern Grey Shrike and now seems to be treated as Great Grey Shrike but this might change again in the future.
