Gull id, Norfolk, GB (1 Viewer)

Found this gull on Blackborough Tip this morning. Structurally it seems to suggest one id, plumage another (unless hybrids can look like this). Comments please.

More photos here now. I wasn't aware that pale Herring Gull could look quite like this, with the dark subterminal spots, but the bird in plate 333 in the Helm guide has a similar pattern (though was not such a pale bird).
