    An older photo taken during my spring break from school last April. Although we don't have a lot of water here in Arizona we do have a nice lake between Tucson on the Mexican Border - Patagonia Lake. This Coot is one of the year round residents there.

    Also seen at Henderson Bird Viewing Area, Las Vegas, NV. This area is a section of the Water Reclimation Plant set aside as a bird habitat with several ponds. Great place, a bit of an oasis in desert for the birds.
