    This bird is becoming very common in Singapore, getting to replace all the other babblers. Goes around in flocks of 20 to 25 birds in the forest, aggressive birds, makes calls like Chong, Chong, and another like the scrapping of a comb.

    A very unimpressed looking Grey-crowned Babbler about to be released after banding. It's one in the net, all in the net with this gregarious species. Any family members not caught bounce around the banders and call incessantly until their comrade is released.
