    Although not common in SE Kent, there are a few locations where you can see Black Redstarts, most of the places I know are coastal and the birds love to look for food among the rocks and concrete blocks added as coastal defense.

    Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus atratus) 1st yr bird. Age determined by the mottling in its bill and its black head. The mottling will turn to an all black bill before the head turns gray.
