    I was afraid I wasn't going to find any rare hummingbirds in our new home state. It took 10 months but finally this little gem showed up at my feeder.

    This is a first. It is the first time this bird has shown up in my yard, and it is the first time I've gotten an image of it. I has been staying around. I only hope it will stay long enough for it to moult into it's full gorget; which will be purple (can just see a little in the image).
