    Green heron along a canal. I found this one interesting as the bird looked quite sinister with the sunlight casting a long pointed shadow on its chest.

    Great Crested Flycatcher (Myiarchus crinitus) I saw movement and expected a Panama Flycatcher and when I got a more or less clear view I saw it was a Great Crested Flycatcher. Sexes similar. Mangroves, Playa Sandalo along Golfo Dulce, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica.
