    I couldn't leave that visit to Kinnordy without showing you another shot of the beautiful harriers. No stick this time though.

    I managed to catch sight of the female Marsh Harrier that day. She's not always so visible once she's on the nest. But she appears to be carrying more nesting material to the new nest site.

    .... well as you can see, he wasn't foraging for food, but sticks. He came back to that island several times and left with yet another. I presume it was an old nest from something else... Coot perhaps. Sadly they appear to have lost the original nest over by the lone Pine and re-located to...

    We had a bit of raptor action that day, after the excitement of seeing the Kite on my way to Kinnordy. Here's the female Marsh Harrier flying over the fields at the back of the reserve.
