Grey Heron
Taken during a visit to RSPB Loch Leven, Perth & Kinross. This Heron was fishing unsuccessful in the River Leven just before to runs into Loch Leven. Photo taken just as it raised its head from the water and It looks like I managed to freeze the water running of its beak- Tudor Jones

Migrant Hawker
Finally starting to capture reasonable shots of my favourite insects in flight. Perfect light helps...low ISO and heavily stepped down to f8. EV at least -0.33 in full sunshine.
