6. Jos, I suspect you have some sort of psychic mind reading gifts!It's both an altitudinal and short distance migrant (100s rather than 1000s of miles). It is not a resident in every country where it occurs though

It indeed feeds mainly on or close to the ground and is a possible prey species for Eurasian Sparrowhawk. Am I correct in not adding 'yes' answers to the total?
 
hm? common dipper is a WP species...but ok, no dipper, always no no and no with my questions...:-C (apart from the fact that negative answers also help |:p| )

Sorry Lou, I meant to say "but it IS a West Pal species ( in case anybody started suggesting species from the americas, africa australasia etc). See how helpful I am!
