A chap on a photography forum posted these images of an accipiter that flew over his head. He is wondering whether it is a Goshawk. I don't have enough experience to be sure from this angle, but from the broad body and tail base I'm inclined to agree. We'd both welcome opinions from more knowledgeable people.

I believe on these shots the tail says all…imm. Goshawk for me and fwiw….what superb shots.👍

Yes, Goshawk, huge body, broad tail base, rounded tail edges, very long wings.

It might be worth adding that they don’t always come with such classic tails, sometimes “almost” squared, as indeed Sprawks can show rounded tails, but never like the subjects.
