Alaska Gull? (1 Viewer)

I may be pushing my luck asking for id help with this being my only photo.
It was a gull in flight at the Potters marsh Coastal Refuge, Anchorage Alaska on Aug 4th.
The bird is mostly white with black wing tips and yellow bill, I am not sure how many gulls there are in Alaska mostly white in color and the black wing tips.
I was looking at my field guide at the Thayer's Gull and the Mew Gulls, they look similar?
Sorry I do not have any more photos of this bird. Thanks for any help.

Wow, I would have never come up with this id. The gulls are tricky for me. Especially when it comes to hybrids. Thank you Southern Viking.
Hopefully other gull fans will comment as I'm not 100% sure. Certainly wouldn't pretend to be an expert but the hybrid pool in North America is fascinating! Pretty sure I can rule out most other options for this though :)
