Alternate bag for Swarovski CL Pocket binos? (1 Viewer)

Hi all. First of all, thank you for your contributions to this forum. I have found much of the info very useful.

I recently purchased the Swarovski CL Pocket binos and am looking for a different case to hold them. Anyone come up with some good options that I should consider? Having a hard time finding something appropriate. Thanks in advance.

@BlueSkyFlash

Do you want a bag that will hold your 8x25 CL adjusted at your proper IPD setting or a smaller bag to hold them fully folded? If the former, I recommend you try the Vortex case for compact binoculars. It's a very good fit , with belt loop and detachable adjustable shoulder strap with a pad.

If you’re talking about the 7x21 curio, this was found by another user some time ago. I bought one for myself and think it’s a perfect upgrade.

No, I have the CL Pocket 8x25 binos. I think this option might be too small for them.

Fully folded. They take up less space that way under the chair. I’ll try to find what you’re referring to.

I'm assuming you want something even smaller than the included SW case (?). It's hard to find the smallest possible case shopping online. One basic minimalist option is to use a small micro fiber cloth bag (like for sunglasses) but that may not provide the protection you want against bumps, drops etc.
Another option is to shop for cases intended for small cameras which seem to come in a larger variety of shapes and sizes than binocular cases. All the cases I have for carrying smaller (20mm) pockets fully folded are too small for the CL 25mm. You might also look at the Op/Tech site for their neoprene cases for small binoculars.

I have the original version of the CL 25 which has a slightly different case than the new version and based on looking at pics and videos it appears the older case is slightly smaller. I attach a picture comparing the SW with the Vortex case to the extent it may be helpful.

Good luck with it.

Not necessarily smaller. Just was looking for other options that may be differently designed.

I had been searching for something for the Curio I just received, and ordered it just before I saw your post. Not much of a risk.
Thanks again. A perfect fit for UV 8x20 BL and smaller bins. I use the neck strap strap to carry the Curio but the bag would probably be an OK fit if you forego the strap and the ocular cover.
