An interesting story on Acorn Woodpeckers (1 Viewer)

Thanks for posting this. I just got to see Acorn Woodpeckers for the first time 2 years ago - such interesting woodpeckers! It would be interesting to see more evidence for the question of whether the birds or squirrels were responsible for this...
 
Pretty cool, I've watched them for years in the Huachuca Mountains. They live in family groups, a group will come to a peanut feeder, take off with peanuts and then shortly come back for more.
