Anarhynchus from Egypt (1 Viewer)

Hello, I observed several sand-plovers near Marsa Alam (Egypt) a month ago. Could you help identify these birds at the species level? Someone suggested Anarhynchus atrifrons on iNaturalist, so I just want to confirm or disprove this ID. Thank you for your insight!

Agree, but no idea where you have got Anarhynchus from for sand plovers...

Most chacklists are still Charadrius or, for the progressive, Eupoda. I think Anarhynchus is used solely for Wrybill in NZ...

So yours is likely Charadrius leschenaultii columbinus

eBird seems to use Anarhynchus for sand-plovers.
