Hello, I believe these are all photos of sand plovers, though there is more than one bird. I think the first group of photos show a lesser sand plover, and (hoping) the second group, starting with the plover by the empty construction bag, show a greater sand plover, based on what appear to me its longer legs. That being said, to the extent i can tell the bill length, all of the photos (though none really provide a good view in this regard) seem to suggest lesser.
I included a quite poor photo of one in flight in case someone is able to discern its feet
Habitat was a "dug out" for a shrimp pond, with some on the gravelly ridge and others in the mud at the bottom.
Photos taken in an agricultural area in Songklha province, SE Thailand at about 10 am on Sept 14, 2023.
All comments and critiques most welcome amd appreciated.
thank you in advance
steve
