Maybe a rock bunting , but wouldn’t it have more obvious facial markings ?

In rock bunting; both mandibules should be slate grey. In this bird lower mandibule was yellow-orange..

At first glance, I thought same thing. But faint striking on cap, and lack of wing bars seems that does not fit with the house sparrow…

On the other hand, in erythristic birds phaeomelanin and eumelanin contents does not boost at same time..and/or locally…

I don't think the (very) faint markings on crown rate as streaking - just separate feathers being visible.
Wing-bars are rufous!
Everything is there - note wide dull rear-supercilium.

Wing coverts are rufuous, but does not build a proper wing bar. faint whitish flecking on flanks are noticable..

It would create two wing-bars (greater-covert- + median-covert-tips), if some of the rufous bits were white.

But not a proper angle…, they should be parallel, not triangular. Also please note that the secondary lower eye ring…

FWIW a great image! and a Passer domesticus for me too…albeit somewhat rufous.
