I am not familiar with this forum but it looks interesting and full of wise and experienced birders. I've done some international birding as well as a considerable
amount of birding in Maryland where I live. At present we are seeing an influx of Sandhill Cranes in and around the Washington-Baltimore area. Last year we
had quite a few Roseate Spoonbills. In any case, I will welcome any tips or advice about getting connected with local birders in Colombia.
