I’m off to these two islands in November split by the Wallace line!
Can anyone recommend the best birding field guide books to take with me?

Eaton / Rheindt's "Birds of the Indonesian Archipelago" v2 is the definitive and by far best book for Indonesia outside of W Papua.

There are two versions out there, be careful it's the 2nd, and don't buy the hardcover, the covers will just fall off if you use it in the field much
