bill oddies birding series on dvd (1 Viewer)

Help for years now i have been looking for the complete series of bills birding
on dvd has anyone got one or all three available for sale please get in touch
with any details of any thanx in advance for any info -help

Hi JD. My son bought me the 'How to watch wildlife' series on DVD xmas 2007, which I enjoyed, so I told him I'd like 'Bill Oddie goes birding' for xmas 2008. Unfortunately, no-one seems to stock this....maybe it didn't go to DVD???

Still, life's full of compensations. He got me 'Life on Mars' series 1 & 2 instead. Brilliant!!

hi steve thanx for the reply i have the where to watch dvds too it seems crazy that the beeb have not released the series yet surely they must know that there sitting on a goldmine i will look for the tapes adn transfer to dvd

I've got first 2 series of Birding with Bill Oddie on tape, and the kit to convert to DVD. I'll look into doing this and get back to you if I manage to do it successfully.

He did a bird race in Kenya probably getting on for 20 years ago now which was shown by BBC - about 30 mins I think.

If anyone knows whether this is available on DVD I would be very interested.

Thanks Keith. It's getting clearer in the memory now. It was a 2 day bird race. The other team member with Bill was Dave Richards and if I recall correctly, one of the Kenyan teams had an aircraft break down and returned the next day to break the 24 hour record.
