Bird calls and recordings (1 Viewer)

For those of you interested in bird calls and recordings have you checked out a website called Xeno-canto? I carry a small parabolic mic into the field daily and record all the birds i can so check out http//hwangebirder.blogspot.com for regularly updated recordings from Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

The Hwange Birder

the xeno-canto website is one of the most useful websites for birders. Truly superb and I for one very much appreciate the effort put into it.

Yes, Xeno-canto is excellent resource and probably is very well known among birders.

But since the title of the topic is "Bird calls and recordings" than I can share a link to bird song & call recording page in main Latvian bird website. It has more than 400 files for 189 different species. Surely not as extensive as xeno-canto but it can be used as a additional resource sometimes.
