Could anyone ID this (the bird on the left)
Sorry about the really poor quality photograph but maybe someone can ID

If your sure that the bird on the right is a Crow as opposed to a Buzzard?
The left hand bird is an Accipiter for definite, am now thinking that the left hand bird is a female Sprawk, assuming that your right hand bird is a Corvid.

Cheers

It was definitely not a Buzzard, it landed in a tree right in front of me and was definitely a crow or other corvid

Is the bird on the right a Raven?
It might have been but i'm not much good with spotting the difference between Crow and Raven
It seemed to be having a problem with flying, or it was just flying really weirdly and making a really strange call (not like any corvid sounds that I have tried)

It has a very full rounded tail, long wings with deeply fingered primaries and a long neck with the suggestion of a shaggy throat. All pretty good indicators for raven.

And making a "really strange call". Raven and sparrowhawk for me
